TRAINING PROGRAMS
The links below provide a variety of training plans for all levels of fitness. The plans are designed to step you through your workouts during the twelve-week period leading up to the Run for Life. Whether you want to run a PR (Personal Record) in the 2-mile or 10-mile races, or if you want to complete your first 2-mile run, we're sure you'll find a program to fit your needs. The Advanced and Intermediate plans were designed by Dave Halferty, a sub 2:23 marathoner with a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. The Beginner plan was designed by Joanie Dergan, past-President of the Sunflower Striders with a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology.
